About
DJ Shan is over twenty years behind the decks, from Lausanne to clubs across Switzerland. From private parties to festivals, from art openings to international battles, he's played just about every setting, and every crowd taught him something. He once brought all of French-speaking Switzerland together in a single club in Lucerne, with coaches chartered from five cities. A DJ who knows the craft from the inside, and reads a room in seconds.
Hip-hop, rap, trap, R'n'B, pop, dancehall, afrobeat: whatever the style, one line. The street, the truth, no vulgarity. He digs out the gems only a true connoisseur knows where to find, and passes them on with rare standards: quality over quantity.
His signature: an intention behind every selection, and a taste for building the whole event from A to Z. He's the one behind Freestyle sur mon Mix, his dance battles. He puts his art in service of something bigger: setting a room alight, and leaving it with meaning. On stage, you can hear it.
Tech sheet
I always show up with my own setup, no surcharge: my Rane Seventy Two mixer, a wireless mic, my Phase units, my styluses and my Serato (vinyl). Pro gear, ready to play.
One thing to note: I don't provide the PA. If you don't have speakers, plan to rent them yourself.
